Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, granted two separate meetings on Friday 22nd September in order to meet the Executive Secretary of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), Maria do Carmo Trovoada Silveira, and the ex Vice-President of South Sudan, Riek Machar.

In addition, the President also granted a meeting with the ex Vice-President of South Sudan, Riek Machar.
One of the main matters addressed in this meeting was the cooperation between both countries – an activity that S. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has always worked on to establish long-lasting peace in South Sudan.
