Head of State meets Equatoguinean student body in Zimbabwe

On the morning of 25th May, the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, held a meeting with Equatoguinean students in higher education at various universities in Zimbabwe.

The meeting took place in one of the meeting rooms at the presidential hotel in the city of Harare. During his speech, the leader of the nation condemned the poor conduct observed in some students, which on occasions had eroded the prestige of the country, and the aims with which the Government handles the grants for young Equatoguineans.

The grants are managed to provide the country with qualified professionals who can take up the future and the ideals of the party of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea with resolve and responsibility”, said H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

He also pointed out that Zimbabwe had a quality level of education, and so the students must take advantage of the knowledge gained in order to be people who are useful to Equatoguinean society.

In addition to explaining to the young people the reason for his trip, the President also praised them for the warm reception provided for the delegation he was leading. The event concluded with the presentation of money in cash to the students.
