Head of State meets local authorities from Continental Region

On Friday 2nd August, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, met provincial, district and municipal authorities from the continental part, together with police commissioners. The Head of State was accompanied by the General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE) , Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, and the Public Administration and Administrative Reform, Faustino Ndong Esono.

After thanking those present for attending, the Head of State gave advice to the governors of the provinces of Litoral, Centro Sur, Wele Nzas, Kie Ntem and Djibloho, respectively. The Government delegates, holders and deputies, mayors, presidents of the district monitoring commissions, PDGE district and local councils and the police commissioners, received instructions related to the role to play in their respective jurisdictional administrations.

The matter of cleaning the cities and villages also formed part of the speech by the Head of State.

It is necessary to maintain the current political balance and development with peace a priority”, affirmed the Equatoguinean President.

In another moment during his reflections, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo invited those present to celebrate in full the 40th Anniversary of the glorious Freedom Coup which will take place on Saturday 3rd August throughout national territory.
