Head of State meets personnel from diplomatic mission before UN

The President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, met staff from the Republic of Equatorial Guinea diplomatic mission before the UN on 5th February.

At the advisory meeting, he congratulated those attending for the good work carried out since our nation was elected as non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.

H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo also invited those at the meeting to exercise discipline, respect for the hierarchy, and coordination of services as, in his words, the administration was based on discipline.

During the course of the meeting it was revealed that some of those present could become part of the United Nations General Secretariat, according to the Head of State himself, as a result of the bilateral meeting held on 4th February with the General Secretary of the institution, Antonio Guterres.
