Head of State oversees first Council of Ministers of 2019

Under the presidency of the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, the Government held A Council of Ministers meeting on 14th February, the first of 2019. Three draft laws, two draft decrees, a report and the usual any other business section made up the agenda for the government session, which was attended by the Vice-president of the Republic, Charged with Defence and State Security, H. E. Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue; the Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, and the Vice Prime Ministers, Ministers of State, Deputy Ministers and Secretaries of State.

The Council of Ministers began with the reading and approval, if applicable, of the minutes from the previous session by the Minutes Secretary, and the Synthesis Report from the Prime Minister.

The debates and analysis by those at the meeting then focussed on the Draft Laws on Government; the Law on the Judicial Regime for the General State Administration and Common Administrative Procedure, and the Law on the organisation and Functioning of the General State Administration, presented by the department charged with Judicial Affairs and Parliamentary Relations.

The ministries for Agriculture, Public Works and Finance, for their parts, presented draft decrees to open the Agriculture Campaign 2019/2020, and to approve the new Payment Method for Quotas for entry-access and monthly payments for protected social housing or social housing.

In Any Other Business they looked at the proposal for dates for the celebration of the Third national Economic Conference, by the organising committee, together with the movement of the Government to Bata, by the Prime Minister.
