The presidential couple have returned to the city of Malabo following the conference held in the Plurinational Republic of Bolivia, where it was decided that the V Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) will be held in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
Following the official visit by the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, and his wife, Constancia Mangue de Obiang, the presidential couple was received by the President of the table for continuity from the Chamber of Deputies, Gaudencio Mohaba Mesu, the President of the Constitutional Court, Salvador Ondo Nkumu, the Mayoress of Malabo, Maria Coloma Edjang Mbengono, and various members of the Government, such as the First Vice Prime Minister, Clemente Engonga Nguema Onguene, presidential advisers, and the General Secretary of the PDGE, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro.
We made a State visit at the invitation of President Evo Morales. The visit took place in the city of La Paz, and during the trip various agreements were signed for bilateral cooperation between Equatorial Guinea and the Plurinational Republic of Bolivia, strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation”, declared the Head of State, before the press.
Furthermore, there was an analysis of the importance of gas as a clean product, which can be used in the same way as oil; that is to say, increasing production and trade, and above all cooperation, in order to find formulas for how to use it rationally”, continued the President, in his explanation of the GECF.
