Head of State travels to Niger

Invited by H. E. Mahamadou Isoufou, President of the Republic of Niger, a delegation led by H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo travelled to Niamey in mid-afternoon on 17th December. They were seen off at the presidential terminal at Malabo international airport by the leaders of the ministerial departments of national Defence and corps from State security, together with presidential security.

The Head of State is travelling to Niger to attend, on 18th December, the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Niger; a republican proclamation that took place precisely on 18th December 1958.

The two leaders have made reciprocal separate visits to their respective countries, within the framework of the excellent diplomatic relations that unite the two administrations.

The last time that H. E. Mahamadou Isoufou visited Malabo was on 12th October this year, during the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of National Independence.
