Head of State travels to Sudan

On 19th November, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, travelled to Jartum, the Sudanese capital, at the invitation of his counterpart, H. E. Omar Hassan El Bechir.

In the presidential terminal at Malabo airport he was seen off by various members of the Government, from the departments of Presidential Security, National Security and Defence, and various advisers to the head of State’s office.

H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo is travelling to the Republic of Sudan at the invitation of his counterpart, H. E. Omar Hassan El Bechir, within the framework of the excellent diplomatic relations between the two nations.

The Sudanese leader has also made several visits to Malabo, and recently attended the events marking the 50th Anniversary of national Independence, on 12th October.
