Head of State visits his agricultural, livestock and fish farming facilities

Following the 39th Anniversary of the Freedom Coup, on 3rd August, the presidential couple dedicated Saturday 4th August to getting to know first hand the progress in agricultural, livestock and fish farming activities on their private estate, located in the city of Mongomo, capital of the province of Wele-Nzas.

On Saturday, the presidential couple witnesses the catching of fish of various species in the tanks installed on the property, in addition to seeing the production process for products such as peanut paste or cornflour, among others. They also visited the various herds of which they are the owners.

During the visit the Head of State and the First Lady expressed interest in the importance of agriculture and livestock rearing, as ways to sustain families. They were accompanied by the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Gaudencio Mohaba Mesu.

At the end of the visit, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Constancia Mangue de Obiang presented various gifts to the President of the National Parliament.
