I Anniversary of Political Agreement for Peace and Reconciliation in Central African Republic

The President of Central African Republic, H. E. Faustin Archange Touadera, oversaw on 6th February the ceremony to mark the first anniversary of the Political Agreement for Peace and Reconciliation in Central African Republic, at the La Renaissent Palace.

The main aim of the meeting between the Central African Government and leaders and representatives of the 13 armed groups and 14 signatories to the agreement was to evaluate compliance with this political agreement and the forecasts for the future.

Given the importance of the event, the presence of a representative of the Government of Sudan and other guests, such as Francois Bozize, the former President of Central African Republic, together with former Prime Ministers and the accredited diplomatic and consular corps and international bodies in Bangui, including Narciso Edu Nsue, accredited Republic of Equatorial Guinea Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Bangui, Central African Republic, also featured.
