The II Taekwondo Ambassador’s Cup took place at the Sports Centre at the Stadium Complex in Malabo. The second edition will allow its champions to compete in a global tournament of Champions of the Ambassador’s Cup, sponsored by the Republic of Korea Embassy, whose Ambassador oversaw the sporting event, accompanied by the Minister for Youth and Sports.
The Korean Ambassador was accompanied by the Director General for Sports, Josue Esono EdA� Corredor, representing the Ministry for Youth and Sports, who in his speech mentioned the importance of bilateral relations between the two countries, together with the development of Taekwondo as a training tool for young people to keep them away from bad habits.
The event was also attended by the President of the Equatoguinean Taekwondo Federation, Rafael Eneme Enga, who like all those present has been backed by broad support from the Korean Embassy itself and the Taekwondo Federation.
The event, which began after 2 in the afternoon, featured participants from schools, interested parties and the general public, who went to the facilities to enjoy the best Taekwondo practitioners from Equatorial Guinea.
