Information session on XIX CPC National Congress

In order to provide an active response to the attention paid by the international community to the XIX Communist Party of China National Congress, an information session was held on the morning of 1st November in Beijing, in the auditorium of the international department of the Central Committee of the political grouping.

The culmination of the XIX Communist Party of China National Congress, which took place in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, from 18th to 24th October, aimed at party statute reform and the election of those who will lead the People’s Republic of China in the coming years, was the re-election for five years of the current General Secretary, Xi Jinping.

The international community was called to an information session in the auditorium of the CPC Central Committee, which was attended by the Equatoguinean Ambassador, German Ekua Sima Abaga, and 45 other ambassadors, diplomats, and representatives from international organisations.

The officials in charge of drawing up the documents from the XIX Congress released the main aims of the development plan to be implemented, the restructuring of the party, and decisions taken at the congress.

We will move forward relentlessly towards the objective of improving and developing socialism with our characteristics, and modernise the system and capacity of the Chinese State Government to bring about the consolidation of the nation as a power and achieve some of its most ambitious goals, such as the total eradication of poverty, and an intensification of reforms, in order to complete the actions to achieve the dream of a modestly comfortable society, and strengthen the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics”, underlined members of the party.
