Inspection visit by Head of State in Djibloho

On Thursday 2nd August, following the conclusion of the VIII Friends of Obiang Movement (MAO) Forum, the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, visited various works in progress and places of interest in the city of Peace, in order to carry out an inspection of the place where the 39th Anniversary of the Freedom Coup is to be celebrated on Friday 3rd of this month.

The Head of State went to Avenida la Paz, where the Gallery of Honour, the main stage for the 3rd August celebrations, is located. In addition, the installations at the Afro-American University of Central Africa which will be operational at the start of the next course, was one of the areas which attracted most attention during this visit.

Furthermore, the President also visited the Edification, Equipment and Training Centre of the Civil Protection National Corps, executed by the Spanish company Fomento, the workshop for the prefabrication of structural building elements, and various residences of the armed forces and some social housing.

Accompanied by some members of the Government, such as the Vice-President of Geoproyectos and the Mayor of Djibloho, the President of the Republic also inspected the work on the urban district of Oyala, where he stressed that the work must take on new urgency for this project which constitutes a challenge for his Government.
