To get to know the state and maintenance of the buildings acquired by the Government of our country in Pretoria, Republic of South Africa, was the main aim of the visit by the General Inspector for Services at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Julio Obama Ondo Bela, from 8th to 11th September.
The maintenance and conservation of State assets outside the national territory is a matter of great importance in the working schedule and operations of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. For that reason, the Inspector General carried out al inspection of the group of elements or services of the diplomatic mission of our country in Pretoria, the buildings owned by the State, and the goods and equipment used for the successful operation of our diplomatic outpost.
This inspection is, due to its relevance, a good sign of the implementation of one of the programmes outlined in the Government agenda.
The inspector, who was accompanied by the civil engineer from the Ministry for Public Works and Infrastructures, Francisco Higinio, was met on arrival by senior officials from this diplomatic mission, led by the Extraordinary Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Pretoria, Francisco Edu Ngue Mangue.
