Interministerial Council holds Extraordinary Meeting

Members of the Government in Malabo held an extraordinary meeting of the Interministerial Council. The meeting took place in the meeting room at the Ministry for Finance and Budgets, in Malabo II.

The Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, accompanied by three Vice prime Ministers, oversaw the meeting.

During the council meeting the members of the Government focussed their attention on the report on measures to be adopted to support the consecration ceremony for three new Bishops from the Catholic Church in Equatorial Guinea, a ceremony that is to be held in the Basilica in Mongomo.

The proposal for the composition of the sub-commissions for the organisation of the upcoming National Energy Conference, put forward by the Ministry for Industry and Energy, was another of the matters looked at in the meeting. They also analysed the report on the possibility of starting maintenance services at the Hydroelectric Power Station in Djibloho. The meeting concluded with any other business.
