The Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, oversaw the meeting of the Interministerial Council on 4th July, with six points on the agenda. The session was also attended by the Second and Third Vice Prime Ministers, A�ngel Mesie Mibuy and Alfonso Nsue Mokuy, respectively.
The Interministerial Council dealt specifically with economic issues. After adopting the agenda, the Minister for Information, Press and Radio, Eugenio Nze Obiang, in his capacity as Minutes Secretary, read the minutes from the previous meeting.
Following the reading, Lucas Abaga Nchama, Minister for Finance, the Economy and Planning, presented a report on the Execution of the General State Budgets for the First Quarter of 2018. Abaga Nchama also presented points four and five on the agenda, relating to the justification for the Current Account Income for the months of April, May and June of this year, and the setting of new ceilings for income for each ministerial department.
In any other business, the Presidency of the Government reported on the results of the meeting with Autonomous Bodies, with the aim of promoting the adoption of measures that guarantee both their operability and profitability.
