On 26th January the International Tourism Fair FITUR 2020, in Madrid (Spain) came to an end. This edition also featured the XI Forum on Investment and the Tourism Business in Africa.
According to the fair’s organisers, 918 headline exhibitors and 11,040 companies from 165 countries and regions took part.
Among the specialist areas that formed part of the fortieth anniversary of the fair was FITUR Talento, a space focussed above all on people, their talent, their skills and key professional capacities for the future profitability and competitiveness of the global tourism industry.
Also in this edition was the XI Forum on Investment and the Tourism Business in Africa, with the main aim of promoting sustainable development on the continent, while promoting conversations on investment and business opportunities.
A total of 465 people took part in the forum, including various Ministers and Secretaries of State for Tourism.
