During his stay in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Head of State, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, held a series of meetings with different personalities who also attended the 24th African Union Summit.
Among the authorities with which the Equatorial Guinean Head of State met were the Secretary General of the UN, Ban Ki-moon; members of the official delegation of Cape Verde, led by its President, H.E. Jorge Carlos Fonseca; the President of Burkina Faso, H.E. Michel Kafando; Miquel Bolanov, the special envoy of the Russian President H.E. Vladimir Putin, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mali.
During these meetings, the Equatorial Guinean Head of State received the congratulations of his colleagues for the excellent organization of the African Cup of Nations competitions, CAN, which since January 17 is being held in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
The agenda of this audience contained the review of bilateral relations and issues affecting the African continent, held in one of the rooms of the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).
