On Wednesday, January 7, the new Government Delegate of the District of Bata, Antonio Nsue Ondo Oye, met with members of the local entities that make up the district of Bata and the municipalities of Rio Campo and Machinda.
The event starring Antonio Nsue Ondo had a dual purpose: his official introduction as the new Government Delegate, and to address a number of important issues in order to improve services and activities that will soon take place in the city.
Nsue Ondo asked for good cooperation with the new government team and referred to the soccer event that will be hosted in the country in the upcoming days. To do so, he requested the maximum cooperation in the aspect of cleaning up the communities and urban areas.
In the meeting they also discussed the census on the population, housing and agricultural activities. The Delegate asked everyone for their collaboration in the carrying out these surveys as well as their contribution to the implementation of the monthly rates that will be submitted shortly to ensure the smooth operation of the company Guinea Limpia.
Next, the members of the National Technical Committee for Monitoring and Control of Ebola took the opportunity of the meeting to create awareness among the attendees regarding the disease. During the meeting attended by the president of the district council of the PDGE in Bata, the head commissioner of police and the five delegates from the urban districts that make up the city, among others. The meeting ended with the section on miscellaneous topics.
