Launch of the Pan-African Festival of Music website

Early in the morning of Friday 28th December, the Equatorial Guinea Ambassador to Congo Brazzaville, Samuel Ateba Oweno Iyanga, attended the official launch of the web page for the Pan-African Festival of Music, FESPAM.

The organising committee from the institution presented the advantages of the page, with its headquarters in Congo Brazzaville, for member countries. It will also allow the publication of activities carried out, and those which are to take place in the future, with permanent updates for all member States.

Representing the Congolese Government, the Minister for Culture and Art, Dieudonno Moyongo, praised the organising committee for the excellent work done, and invited those present to be multipliers for the project. he also declared his passion for music, pointing out that member Governments of the African Union (AU) must strengthen the institutions involved so that music on the continent is always improving.

During the meeting, the Equatoguinean Ambassador, Samuel Ateba Oweno Iyanga, was accompanied by several accredited diplomats close to the Congolese Government.
