Lucas Nguema receives a contingent of Egyptian doctors

The Second Deputy Minister of the Government in his capacity as president of the National Technical Committee for Monitoring and Control of Ebola, Lucas Nguema Esono Mbang, received on Friday, January 9, in the meeting room of the Ministry of Education and Science the group of Egyptian doctors that recently arrived in the country.

The fifteen Egyptian doctors who come to work with the National Technical Committee for Monitoring and Control of Ebola during the CAN Equatorial Guinea 2015, who are already in Malabo, were welcomed by Lucas Nguema Esono.

The Second Deputy Minister, in addition to welcoming them to the country, thanked the Egyptian government for this gesture of solidarity with Equatorial Guinea, an action that benefits the whole of Africa, since the CAN is a continental event.

According to the agreements established, after the CAN, part of Egyptian doctors will stay in our country, to continue monitoring the Ebola epidemic.
