With the support of the Second Vice President of the Republic and President of the Youth Federation of the PDGE, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, a macro concert was held on the mainland capital between December 31 and January 2, to celebrate the beginning of the New Year 2015.
From 1999 until this new year, the Second Vice President and President of the Youth Federation of the PDGE, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, has organized macroconcerts in the two largest cities, Malabo and Bata. And every year for sixteen years now the tickets to these macro concerts are free. The 2015 concert held in the Seafront of Bata was also free, held between December 31 and January 2.
Near Freedom Tower in the mainland capital, one could listen to big international artists such as Sean Kingston, from the USA, J. Martins of Nigeria; JB Mpiana, of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and DJ Zidane, from Ivory Coast, among others. National figures such as Luis Mbomio; Selin Samurai; Petit Chabal; Taskiel Molon; Nene Bantu and Texson also performed.
Musicians, singers and audience have had words of thanks and congratulations for Nguema Obiang Mangue for this gesture of promoting music to say goodbye to 2014 and welcome the New Year.
