Mba Mokuy receives ambassadors from Ethiopia and Egypt

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Agapito Mba Mokuy, received in his office at the ministerial headquarters the ambassadors from the Federal Republic of Ethiopia, Samia Zekaria Gutu, and the new Egyptian Ambassador to our country, Hattem Hassouba.

The Ambassador from the Federal Republic of Ethiopia, Samia Zekaria Gutu, was the first diplomat to be received by the Equatoguinean minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Agapito Mba Mokuy, with whom he spoke about matters of bilateral interest, specifically on the holding of a meeting of the Mixed Commission between the two countries for the month of February.

Furthermore, the two spoke about the official visit that the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, intends to make to Addis Abeba.

We are also satisfied wit the Ethiopian colony residing and working in Equatorial Guinea, as the two countries have maintained excellent relations of friendship and cooperation for many years. Equatorial Guinea has opened its diplomatic headquarters in Ethiopia, and we are working satisfactorily”, said the ambassador.

The new accredited Egyptian Ambassador to Equatorial Guinea, Hattem Hassouba, in his first meeting with Mba Mokuy, presented his credentials, prior to presenting them before the President of the Republic.
