On 4th September, the Secretary of State from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Domingo Mituy Edjang, visited the headquarters of the Equatoguinean diplomatic mission in the People’s Republic of China, where he was received by the Ambassador, German Ekua Sima Abaga.
The two figures, after speaking spoke about the state of the brilliant and fruitful cooperation between China and Equatorial Guinea, also looked at the successes being achieved in foreign policy by our country, led by the President, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
Mituy Edjang also met diplomatic personnel from the embassy, who he congratulated for the good maintenance of the building, the headquarters of the chancellery and property of the State, and also for the good administrative order and spirit of harmony and union that he saw during his visit. Furthermore, he gave some advice with regards to the mission they have been entrusted with, such as maintaining and extending the diplomatic, commercial and cultural relations of Equatorial Guinea, not only in China, but also with all the countries concurrent with the mission and other friendly nations accredited in the People’s Republic of China.
The Secretary of State has been in the Asian country since 2nd September, to attend a seminar organised by the Chinese Ministry for Trade, aimed at senior figures from member countries of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), under the banner Chinese Socio-economic and Commercial Cooperation with Portuguese-speaking countries, which will take place over seven days.
