On Tuesday 3rd October, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Agapito Mba Mokuy, received in audience the Ambassador from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to Equatorial Guinea, Tong Chol Ho.
During the audience, the minister was accompanied by the Presidential Adviser, Pedro Ela Nguema Buna, and the Director General for Asia and the Pacific, Abraham Bibang Ncogo.
In addition to speaking about the bilateral relations linking the two countries, the North Korean ambassador asked for the support of our country in seeking a peaceful solution for the Korean peninsula.
“We hope that Equatorial Guinea provides its support through solidarity, roundly rejecting the position of the United States in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea , and we also hope that Equatorial Guinea defends the peace and security of the world”, said the ambassador.
