Meeting between PDGE First Deputy General Secretary and departmental chiefs

Brother Militant First Deputy General Secretary of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea, Armando Ela Nsue Mengue, held a meeting on Thursday 1st September at the National Office in Malabo II. Called to the meeting were heads and deputy heads of departments, in addition to operational staff from the political institution.

Nsue Ela, Charged with Administrative Affairs, Institutional Relations and the Internal Regime, called on those gathered to work together to energise the functioning of the governing political grouping in view of the upcoming electoral confrontations.

The number two from the National Office stated that the Founding President “is calling on us to show solidarity and to redouble our efforts to promote solidarity, unity, harmony and cohesion in order to live in peace”.

“Each of us has to redouble our efforts in our own departmental sector,” emphasised Nsue Ela, who recalled that “we must be the first in the campaign ranks and at the polling stations”. He made it clear that there is only one aim regarding the elections and that is to win.

He also spoke about putting aside differences, being vigilant, respecting the statutes and internal regulations of the PDGE, and encouraging forgiveness and management in order to help other militant brothers and sisters to grow.
