The Secretary of the CNDD-FDD party, A�variste Ndayishimiye, is in Malabo bearing a message from the President of Burundi, H. E. Pierre Nkurunziza, for the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.
The National Council for the Defence of Democracy.Forces for the Defence of Democracy (CNDD-FDD) is the governing party in Burundi. It’s General Secretary, A�variste Ndayishimiye has held a first audience with the Head of State, to whom he passed on a message from the President of Burundi. A�variste Ndayishimiye also visited the National Office of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), where he was received by his counterpart, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro.
Following the meeting, the Burundian politician made a statement to the press, in which he declared that the two had exchanged impressions regarding the two parties, the CNDD-FDD and the PDGE, “We are satisfied regarding the stability reigning in the two countries”. In addition, Ndayishimiye thanked authorities and the Equatoguinean population for the warm welcome received, “We will take a positive message to the people of Burundi from our Equatoguinean brothers, as here we feel as if we are at home. With my counterpart, Jeronimo Osa Osa Ecoro, we have exchanged ideas, as the Pan-Africans we are, given that we have known each other for a long time. Our two parties are working for the good of the people; we share the same political ideology and, as such, our visit has been highly satisfactory”.
