On Tuesday 28th March, the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, met in Djibloho with representatives from companies working on the construction of the Hydroelectric Power Station at Sendje, to look at the situation regarding the suspension of the project.
The meeting was attended by representatives from Douglas, Alliance and Gemacor International, together with the Minister for Industry and Energy, Eugenio Edu Ndong, a representation from the Judicial Office, and director generals from some ministerial departments.
During the meeting they reviewed contracts signed by the Government with these companies, and drew up new ones which are more viable, in order that these companies can continue working on the project.
Obama Asue said that it was essential to draw up a new contract and bring together the administrative and technical clauses, together with the budget for carrying out the work, which are at an advanced stage, according to representatives of the constructors.
