Meeting between Prime Minister and President of the Supreme Court

The Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea considers that the business climate among companies operating in our country is favourable, but condemns actions by judicial institutions that hinder this environment.

Thus states the Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, on 26th March, minutes after a working visit to the Supreme Court of Justice.

During the meeting, Obama Asue put to the president of the institution, Juan Carlos Ondo Angue, the concerns of the Government regarding the actions of some institutions that are impeding the Executive’s efforts to encourage companies to set up in the country, and later asked him to insist that members of the ordinary courts act in accordance with the law.
