On Friday 22nd June, in Madrid, the Vice-Minister for Aviation, Luciano Esono Bitegue, met the president of the Spanish airport management public company, Jaime Garcia Legaz, to look at matters regarding cooperation between the two countries.
Following several meetings between the head of the Equatorial diplomatic mission in Spain, Purificacion Angue Ondo, and directors from the Spanish public company, the Vice-Minister for Civil Aviation, Luciano Esono Bitegue, went to Madrid at the invitation of the company.
The President of AENA, Jaime Garcia Lega, pointed out to Esono the various areas in which they could cooperate with the country, such as technical training, and the training of human resources in airport management or operational security, among others.
AENA, the largest airport company in the world, manages a total of 46 in Spain (Adolfo Suarez � Madrid Barajas, included) and 16 abroad. Based on this experience, Esono Bitegue believes that the Spanish company may make a huge contribution to the management of airports in the country.
The meeting was also attended by the adviser from the diplomatic mission in Spain, Bernabe Ndong Mba, representing the Ambassador, and the first secretary, Gregorio Ondo Elo Nsa.
