The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Diosdado Vicente Nsue Milang, met on Tuesday evening, February 17, with the newly appointed ministerial staff in the mainland, to analyze the necessary improvements in the management of national hospitals.
During the meeting, the Minister of Health congratulated the technical directors, administrative assistants and inspectors for their recent appointments and good performances during the African Cup of Nations, CAN 2015.
Also, Nsue Milang gave instructions on how to improve the activity of the health sector during the period of this new year, considered a year of change for national hospitals and health centers. The planned arrangements will be aimed at improving health conditions; commitment at work, the correct way to treat patients and improvements in the rooms and food. In addition, maintenance companies will be required to comply with the signed agreements.
The Minister also appealed to responsibility in order to avoid continuous transfers of staff and, in regard to collections, has requested their compliance and deposit to the Treasury.
At the end of the meeting, some attendees told Nsue Milang of their concerns and the meeting ended in an atmosphere of good mutual understanding between the parties.
