The Government Commission Charged with Economic and Financial Affairs met once again on the morning of Wednesday 27th February at the Presidency of the Government.
The Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, oversaw the monitoring meeting to update the prescriptive guidelines for the economy and finance in our country. The meeting was also attended by the Vice Prime Ministers of the Government, Clemente Engonga Nguema Onguene and A�ngel Mesie Mibuy.
Those at the meeting examined the possibility of boosting the blue economy in the country, stressing the importance of the seas and oceans due to their huge economic potential, which can be included within the framework of economic diversification, one of the main topics of the III National Economic Conference.
The members of this commission also covered the working visits made by the Vice-minister for Finance, the Economy and Planning, Valentin Ela Maye, to Ghana, and the visit by the Secretary of the Horizonte 2020 Agency, Cesar Augusto Mba Abogo, to Egypt, at the invitation of business consortiums.
During the meeting the programme outlined for the upcoming National Economic Conference was presented.
