On the morning of 1st July, at the headquarters of the Ministry for Finance, the Economy and Planning, in Malabo II, an Interministerial Council meeting took place, overseen by the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue.
After adopting the agenda, those present went on to cover the two points postponed from the previous meeting, consisting in the review of income corresponding to the months of April and May 2019, and the review and adoption of the Draft Project on the Law on Mines, and its annexes; points presented by the General State Treasury and the Ministry for Mines and Hydrocarbons, respectively.
The Ministry for Transport, the Postal Service and Telecommunications was responsible for presenting separately the Draft Project on the Law on Ports and the Draft Project on the General Law on the Merchant Navy.
Then they continued with a review of Decree number 183/2018, of 28th November, declaring a Strategic Zone from the end of the Casa Mayo estate to the barracks between Sipopo and Baney; a matter which was presented by the Minister for Public Works, Housing and Town Planning. This review was the last point before moving on to the usual any other business section.
