Meeting of Interministerial Council

The Executive held an Interministerial Council meeting in Malabo on Tuesday 20th June. The meeting took place at the Ministry for Finance and Budgets, and was overseen by the Prime Minister of the Government, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, accompanied by the Vice Prime Ministers of the Government, Clemente Engonga Nguema Onguene and Alfonso Nsue Mokuy.

The council meeting began with an examination of the Draft Execution Law for the General State Budgets for the 2016 Economic Period, led by the Minister for Finance and Budgets, together with the Draft Decree providing for the creation of the Electoral Census in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, presented by the Ministry for the Interior and Local Corporations.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, for his part, presented a proposal to ratify the agreements signed between the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and Angola, Egypt, Brazil, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Chad, and United Nations bodies; together with the ratification of the protocol of the constitutional act of the African Union for the Pan-African Parliament, adopted by the Conference of African Union Heads of State, held in Malabo on 27th June 2014, which included an agreement on the concession of visas for national students from CPLP member States.
