The Director General for Work, Employment Promotion and Social Security, A�ngel Francisco Ela Ngomo, together with the Subregional Director of the International Labour Organisation, Francisco Murangira, sat down on 4th April with workers’ representatives from companies in Malabo, to look at employment issues.
The meeting took place in the meeting room at the Ministry for Work, and was attended by the General Inspector for Work and other officials from his department.
To get to know the new subregional director of the organisation, present the companies with the necessary help in matters of support, and get to know the current situation, were some of the aims of the meeting.
The organisation this year will celebrate 100 years in existence, and is working with the Ministry for Work and the Government in order to agree on the working programme.
Other aspects covered included unemployment and social security.
