Meeting of Senate Permanent Commission on Infrastructures

On 25th October, the Permanent Commission on Infrastructures, Transport and new Technologies, overseen by the senator Demetrio Elo Ndong Nsefumu, met at the Senate provisional headquarters in Sipopo, to agree to and adapt the questionnaire that it will submit to the Government in order that it clarifies concerns arising during the study of the Draft General Law on Road Transport in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

The areas generating doubts and concerns during the analysis of the Draft General Law on Road Transport were included in the drafting of the questionnaire containing questions on irregularities and incongruence that the commission identified during the study period for the Draft General Law on Road Transport.

The aim of the commission is to enrich and improve the future General Law on Road Transport, and adapt it to international requirements.

The submission of the questionnaire to the Senate table is pending. It will subsequently be submitted to the Government if deemed adequate.
