Meeting of Senate table to reprogramme parliamentary activities

Reprogramming the activities of senators corresponding to this first ordinary period of parliamentary sessions was the aim of the meeting held on 11th April by members of the Senate Table, led by the President of the institution, Teresa Efua Asangono.

The Table analysed the agenda that covered a total of seven points, including the reading and approval of the minutes from the previous meeting, a study of the draft Government law on the organisation and operation of the General State Administration, Judicial Regime and common Administrative Processing.

The agenda also included agreements and conventions for ratification: the Framework Agreements on Economic, Commercial, Cultural and Technical Cooperation between Equatorial Guinea and the Republics of Djibouti and Portugal; the agreement on the Exemption of Visas for Holders of Diplomatic, Official and Service Passports between our country and the Russian Federation; the Central Africa Conventions on the control of small arms, their ammunition, all parts and components that may serve to manufacture, repair and package them, and the African Union Convention on the Prevention and Fight Against Corruption, among other documents.
