A delegation of the Equatorial Guinean Football Federation (FEGUIFUT), led by its president, Andres Jorge Mbomio Nsem, traveled to the city of Genoa (Italy) to visit the Equatorial Guinean player of Sampdoria, Pedro Mba Obiang Avomo, “Perico”.
The visit, which is part of the work activities of the new board of the FEGUIFUT, had the aim of continuing the efforts already undertaken some months ago in Madrid, for the future incorporation of the midfielder into the National Nzalang.
The Sampdoria player, who has always relegated his presence in the national team to a future project, congratulated the representatives of the FEGUIFUT for the result obtained in the last African Cup and showed his willingness to play with the Nzalang in a near future, although at present he is focused on the renewal of his contract with the Italian team.
The meeting with Pedro Mba Obiang was also attended by his teammate, the Cameroonian Samuel Eto’o, who advised Perico to play with the Nzalang, because in his words “it will be an experience that has nothing to do with all that you have experienced in the world of football.”
Eto’o chatted amicably with all the members of the delegation of the FEGUIFUT, whom he wished good luck in this new and promising phase of the national team.
The delegation of the Federation was formed by its president, Andres Jorge Mbomio; the Second Vice President for the Continental Region, Teodomiro Nze Mangue; the Member of the Board, Head of Women’s Football, Romulo Asumu Ndong; National Nzalang coach, Esteban Becker, and the Coordinator of the national team, Juvenal Egjogo.
