The meeting was held in a hotel in Addis Ababa during the days in which the President was staying in the Ethiopian capital to participate in the African Union Summit. It is the first time he holds this meeting with young Equatorial Guineans in Ethiopia.
The meeting was held at the Sheraton Hotel in Addis Ababa and has served to encourage the young people of Equatorial Guinea studying in Ethiopia to make the most of their studies and return with good results that will allow them to serve their Nation and this second the effort the Equatorial Guinean Government is making.
Also, the Head of State appealed to the students to be disciplined and not fall into behavior that could delay their training cycle.
At the meeting, the President informed the attendees that the republics of Equatorial Guinea and Ethiopia signed cooperation agreements in various sectors, including education.
At the end of the meeting, which was attended by members of the Government, such as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Agapito Mba Mokuy; the Ambassador of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea in Ethiopia, Simeon Oyono Esono, and the counselors of the Head of State, H.E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, gave the students financial assistance to help meet their needs.
