The Chambers of Commerce of Bioko and of the Continental Region, on February 26 in the city of Malabo, held a meeting of the National Council, to analyze its progress and improve the functioning of its institutions.
The meeting of the National Council of the Chambers of Commerce of our country began with a minute of silence in memory of Rosendo Ela Baby, Vice President of this institution in the Continental Region, who died recently in a traffic accident. In addition to the presence of the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Bioko and its Vice President, Gregorio Boho Camo and Antonio Mete Chicampo, respectively, Severino Ondo Nguema, President of the Chamber of the Continental Region, also attended.
Following the order of subjects analyzed during the meeting, first the report prepared by the technicians was read, which included some proposals; a document that has been subject of debate.
The report coming from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, related to the list of 22 Egyptian companies sent by the Egyptian government to cooperate with firms of our country, was also studied.
The search for mechanisms to maximize the revenues of the Chambers of Commerce was another of the subjects discussed during the session, which concluded with the section of miscellaneous.
