The Prime Minister for Administrative Coordination, Vicente Ehate Tomi, met this past Thursday, February 19, in Bata with the directors and representatives of companies doing social work in the mainland.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Head of Administrative Coordination congratulated the economic operators for their good participation in the national economy during his tenure as Prime Minister of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.
Then Ehate Tomi referred to the National Plan for Economic and Social Development of the Government, Horizon 2020, which already passed the first phase from 2008 to 2012, and within which private and public sectors that undertake social work in the country should collaborate to develop construction and basic infrastructures to facilitate the development of other sectors.
After these words, the Prime Minister requested that they facilitate the hiring of national labor, respecting the percentages reserved for national employees, because it is not good for a company to dispense with the natives and keep the expatriates.
The meeting took place in the presence of the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Heriberto Meco Mbe Ngono, and the Vice Minister of the same ministry, Jose Angel Borico.
