The Vice-President of the Republic, Head of Defence and State Security, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, chaired a meeting on 21st September with the Directive Board in the National Defence government headquarters in Malabo. The objective was to deal with the smooth running of the department.
National Defence Minister, Juvenal Mbomio Nsue; Vice Minister, Lucas Obama Ndong; Secretary of State, Alfredo Abeso Nvono Onguene and other high ranks of the national army also attended this meeting chaired by the Vice-President.
The board’s agenda started with a reading and approval of the act of the previous meeting. The second subject addressed was the rescheduling of the actions which have not been fulfilled by each one of the Director Generals in the department with the inclusion of other new ones to be executed in the short, medium and long term.
The assignment of responsibilities for the Vice Minister and the Secretary of State was also studied during the meeting.
