The Ambassador Samuel Ateba Owono Iyanga received his counterpart from Mali, Bubakary Bocar Maiga, in his official office at the Equatoguinean headquarters in Brazzaville.
This courtesy visit allowed the Equatoguinean diplomat to review with the Ambassador from Mali the diplomatic relations uniting the two countries.
The Ambassador from Mali considers that this visit forms part of the work assigned by their respective governments in order to get to know the heads of the diplomatic missions in friendly countries.
Bubakary Bocar also told the head of the Equatorial Guinea diplomatic mission that the group of ambassadors from Africa planned to organise a meeting at the residence of the Equatoguinean Ambassador, in order to express condolences on the death of his daughter in February.
Ateba Owono Iyanga, surprised by this intention, thanked the group of African ambassadors in Congo for the thought, and the meeting will be held on Thursday at the residence of the Ambassador.
