The Minister for Culture and Craft Promotion, Rufino Ndong Esono Nchama, has sent a message of condolence to mark the death of the great Equatoguinean artist Maximiliano Abaga Ele Ndoho, alias ‘Maele’, in the Kingdom of Spain, due to an ongoing illness. The entire contents are published below.
Saddened by the lamentable event, it is still difficult to believe. There are no words to express our feelings on hearing this devastating news.
A great artist and singer, Maximiliano Abage Ele Ndoho stood out for perfecting and creating a typical musical style associated with Equatorial Guinea, and the moving, passionate words to his songs emotionally captivated us all.
We are deeply moved by the pain of having lost a great artist, especially considering that he was relatively young. During these moments of deep desolation, the Ministry for Culture and Craft Promotion wishes to express its support and solidarity with the grieving family, in the knowledge that there is nothing more painful in life than to lose a member of ones family, and we can only imaging the difficult moments you are going through.
We are left, however, with the hope that Maximiliano Abago Ele Ndoho will be received by the Lord Almighty and will open to him the gates to eternal glory.
