Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, at the forum, while also taking advantage of the recent culmination of the VI Table for National Dialogue, and the upcoming celebration of the 39th Anniversary of the Freedom Coup, on 3rd August.
Following the recent culmination of the VI Table for National Dialogue, W wish to express the opportunity of this event of such national importance to share the success resulting from the inclusion of dialogue and brotherly consensus in resolving today’s problems and the challenges of the future for the benefit of Equatorial Guinea.
The Friends of Obiang Movement is convinced that the ideals of humanitarianism, unity and solidarity embodied in the Great Friend Obiang Nguema Mbasogo have once again triumphed in order to guarantee peace, progress and well-being for the eternal benefit of a better Guinea.
Indeed, the progress of peoples during any period of history has been achieved when led by those bestowed with virtues such as detachment, generosity and empathy for others in a disinterested manner.
As a consequence, the appointment this year in the city of Djibloho demands and urges us to renew our commitment to solidarity and friendship with the Great Friend.
As such, the VIII MAO Forum is restating its conviction that friendship is the main uniting link that makes peoples great, and it is the greatest and main legacy of the Great Friend for present and future generations.
For that reason too, the VIII MAO Forum, gathered in the city of Djibloho, expresses the following:
We restate our conviction that friendship is an essential factor in the maintenance of the social cohesion of political stability.
We declare our unwavering adhesion to the Great Friend Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, who has dedicated his entire life to the service of friends.
We restate the values of humanitarianism, unity and solidarity as the principles leading to human dignity, and guarantee harmonious living for the enrichment of democracy, the exercise of responsibility for those in charge of freedoms, and respect for our values in Afro-Christianity.
We declare our intention to fight inequality, poverty, and the violence and destabilisation that may compromise democracy and ruin the economic and social development that we hope to be applicable to all.
We restate the importance of children and teenagers as subjects of law in society, and the guiding, regulatory role of the State in the design and execution of social policies for their benefit, such as guaranteeing their rights, and the relevance of the development of civil society.
We reaffirm the commitment to strengthen the protection and support measures from the emerging sector through projects aimed at improving the infrastructure of hospital buildings and equipment, using latest generation health materials.
We restate the commitment to build a secure system of social protection; one of the strategic aims contained within the Horizonte 2020 plan.
We receive with satisfaction the speech given by the Great Friend Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo at the opening ceremony of this forum.
We express gratitude to the people of Djibloho for the warm welcome and hospitality shown by the population during the period of our stay in this pleasant, welcoming place”.
