A senior delegation led by Leandro Bacale Nkogo, Minister for National Defence in Equatorial Guinea, arrived on the afternoon of 23rd October in Beijing, to take part in a seminar aimed at Ministers for Defence from various countries.
On arrival at Beijing International Airport, Bacale Nkogo was received by General Sheng and members of the Equatorial Guinea in China, led by the ambassador German Ekua Sima. The forum is aimed at International Safety and Security Cooperation in the Asia and Pacific Region, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Military Science. It has been celebrated in Beijing since 2006, and has become an important meeting for exchange and interaction between Chinese experts and academics and those from foreign countries. The Chinese Academy for Military Sciences and the Chinese Society for Strategic Studies will jointly celebrate this forum on 24th to 26th October.
On arrival at the hotel, the minister received in audience the Director General for Africa from the ministry for Defence, Mr. Wang, with whom he exchanged impressions on cooperation in matters of defence between the People’s Republic and the People’s Republic of China.
