Minister for Finance attends Meeting of Consultation Group of Republic of Guinea Conakry

The Minister for Finance and Budgets, Miguel Engonga Obiang Eyang, representing the President of the Republic, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, attended in Paris the Meeting of the Consultation Group of the Republic of Guinea Conakry, which took place on 16th and 17th November.

This consultation group, which sets out the financing of development plans in the country, has the support of the majority of international financial institutions, including the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the African Development Bank, the Islamic Development Bank, the Arab Bank for the Economic Development of Africa, and the UNDP.

All these institutions will support the Republic of Guinea Conakry in the implementation of the Economic and Social Development Plan 2016-2020, with the aim of bringing together suppliers and funds for the plan, which includes over 50 structural projects, with a total budget of 13 thousand million Euro.
