The delegation from the German Parliament that is in Malabo on an official visit has been received by the head of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Simeon Oyono Esono.
Oyono Esono, in his meeting with the delegation of various political groups led by Christophe Hoffman, reaffirmed the priority that the Government of Equatorial Guinea gives to relations with Germany, while also revealing the determination and willingness of the Executive to continue to extend these relations in sectors of mutual benefit.
He also reported on the progress made in the country, above all in the establishment of agreements that have made the presence of important companies such as Lufthansa and EON in Equatoguinean territory possible.
The minister, who was accompanied by Pedro Ela Nguema Buna, Adviser to the Presidency of the Government in matters of cooperation, and other senior officials from the ministerial department, pointed out the progress that the Government of Equatorial Guinea is making in order to improve the living conditions of Equatoguinean citizens, and asked Germany to support Equatorial Guinea in its process of economic diversification.
Dialogue is the best way to walk together and be able to advance on order to achieve the 2030 and 2063 goals, the agendas of the African Union and the United Nations for Development, he added.
