Minister for Mines holds audiences

Gabriel Mbega Obiang, Minister for Mines and Hydrocarbons, received the Ministers for Petroleum from Venezuela, Manuel Quevedo; Algeria, Arkab Mohamed and Qatar, Saad Sherida Alkaabi, who passed on their greetings, congratulations and thanks for the hospitality and organisation of this event, and to speak about questions of bilateral cooperation in gas and petroleum. The meetings took place in one of the rooms at the Sipopo Palace of Congresses. The first delegation received by the Minister was from Venezuela, and they announces their willingness to work with our country. For his part, Mbega Obiang spoke about the experiences of his country in the gas and petroleum sector.

The Minister for Hydrocarbons from Algeria reported to his counterpart on how they are working in the petroleum sector in his country. At this meeting, the Director General of Sonagas and the Director of Gas from Algeria signed a memorandum of understanding for the strengthening of capacities between Sonagas and Algeria.

Finally, Gabriel Mbega Obiang received the Minister from Qatar, Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, who also expressed the same desire to cooperate with our country, and presented a series of proposals.
