A Government delegation from our country, led by the Minister for regional Integration, Baltasar Engonga Edjo, representing the Head of State, H. E. Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, attended the investiture of the President of Madagascar, H. E. Andry Rajoelina.
Following the investiture, in declarations to the press, the Minister for Regional Integration, Baltasar Engonga Edjo, declared that the ceremony had been a success, and he highlighted the hospitality and treatment received, from the moment the delegation from our country arrived.
The ceremony consisted of three parts: the arrival of the presidential delegations and representative delegations, such as ours. The President elect provided us with a banquet. In accordance with the programme, the remaining acts took place at the Antananarivo Stadium. The Head of State, following his investiture, gave a long speech inviting the entire population to work with the new Government team in order to build a new Madagascar, with a spirit of national unity, in accordance with the commitment of the current president, under his strategy of working with all national political powers”, declared the minister.
